A list of festive events in the capital of Kazakhstan dedicated to the upcoming holidays on May 7, Defender of the Fatherland Day, and May 9, Victory Day was published.
Most of the events will take place online due to the pandemic.
On May 5, a meeting with veterans of the home front will take place, the organizers are the ALZHIR Museum-Memorial Complex of Victims of Political Repression and Totalitarianism and the Malinovka search club.
On May 6, schoolchildren will be told about the history of the holidays; on the same day, an online song-contest will be held.
