OSCE Minsk Group’s US Co-chair James Warlick said that the final settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict depends on the political will of the parties.
Warlick said that during the meetings in Vienna and St. Petersburg, presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia affirmed their readiness for the next meeting to ensure progress in the negotiation process.
According to him, the meetings held between Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev in Vienna and in Saint Petersburg have given impetus to the negotiation process toward achieving a comprehensive settlement of the conflict.
James Warlick added that they maintain the optimism and have faith that this year the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, with the support of senior officials, will continue their work toward achieving progress in conflict resolution.
