OSCE co-chairmen concerned about worsening of situation on frontline

The co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group – Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (USA) and Pierre Andrieu (France) – and the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk, have expressed their concern about the recent deterioration of the situation on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops.

They emphasized the inadmissibility of such incidents, which could lead to an escalation of the conflict.

Vestnik Kavkaza reported today that the Foreign Ministry and the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan stated that Armenia is responsible for the current escalation of the situation.
