US President Barack Obama held a meeting on the fight against the terrorist organization Islamic State.
The president said that victory will not be quick. "It will take time to root IS out," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
Obama also noted that he would not send additional troops abroad to fight IS. Moreover, he pointed to the need to create a coalition in Syria, led by the government, but without the participation of its president Bashar al-Assad.
