US President Barack Obama has told local mass media about his impressions after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"During all of our meetings, Putin was impeccably polite and very honest. Our meetings were held in a very businesslike manner and he never made me and many others wait," Obama said.
However, the US President called Russia a "regional power", expressed confidence that Putin "is interested in cooperation with the US in order to be perceived as an American partner after Russia's position in the world has become much weaker."
