Reaching the agreement on Iran's nuclear program is a clear message to Tehran that the international community is ready to cooperate with it, but if the diplomatic approach will not work, that Washington may use military force, US President Barack Obama told the BBC.
"We've sent a clear message to the Iranians. We are settling the Iran deal, but we still have a big account that we're going to have to work. Hopefully some of it diplomatically, if necessary some of it militarily," he said.
"By definition, in a negotiation and a deal like this, Iran gets something out of it," he said, adding that a large portion of those funds "are going to have to be used to rebuild their economy."
"Iran has shown itself to be willing, even in the midst of real hardship, to fund what they consider to be strategy priorities," TASS cited the US President.
