President Barack Obama is to discuss Ukraine and Syria with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
‘‘Taking into account the situation in Ukraine and Syria, despite our differences with Moscow, the President believes that it would be irresponsible not to use the opportunity to make progress in negotiations with Russia at the highest level,’’ a senior official of the Obama administration noted.
According to him, the main topic of conversation will be the implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia, Gazeta.ru reports.
