Speaking at the UN General Assembly, US President Barack Obama stuck to traditional anti-Russian views, accusing it of aggression and the annexation of Crimea in the eastern part of Ukraine. At the same time, he said that ‘’the sanctions imposed by the United States against Russia and its partners weren’t a desire to return to the Cold War."
The President of the United States noted that, because of the sanctions, Russia is experiencing economic loss, and the movement of capital and the movement of the Russian economy were stopped. The ruble is falling and experts are leaving the country.
At the end of his speech, the US president called for Russia to fulfill the agreement reached in Minsk, Interfax reports.
