Opposition activists have built a mocking monument of the governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, and US President Barack Obama in Odessa near the Vorontsov colonnade, Ukraina.ru reports.
According to the organizers, the two figures symbolize the US president and the local governor: Obama keeps Saakashvili, who is chewing his tie, on a leash.
One of the organizers of the action, Alexey Tsvetkov, noted that activists are trying to make the governor resign, RIA Novosti reports.
