Offices of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) are to be opened in Kazakhstan. The agreement was signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos at the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov with World Bank President Jean Kim, the press service of Kazakhstani Prime Minister reports.
"During the meeting the parties discussed issues of further cooperation between Kazakhstan and the World Bank and signed a new agreement between the government of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the establishment and functioning of its offices in Kazakhstan,'' Tass cites the agency's message.
