An official reception marking the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has been held in Rome.
The official reception was attended by First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, who made a speech at the event.
Prior to the reception, the national anthems of Italy and Azerbaijan were played.
A film on the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was screened at the event.
