Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov participated in a meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council, which was held in St. Petersburg.
The event was also attended by State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Valentina Matvienko, representatives of parliaments of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus and Armenia.
They discussed proposal on the creation of the council of experts on economic affairs and working plan of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly for next year.
