Today the world oil prices dropped again.
As of 08:29 the crude oil futures of WTI dropped 2.32%, reaching $28.88. The price of a barrel of Brent crude decreased in price by 1.91% to $28.27 per barrel.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has downgraded its forecast for this year’s global economic growth to 3.4% and to 3.6% for 2017.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) said that it does not rule out further reduction in world oil prices due to the continuing oversupply of raw material in the market. According to it, the oil market faces the prospect of a third successive year when supply will exceed demand by 1 million barrels per day, RIA Novosti reports.
