Brent oil futures with delivery in August climbed above $87 per barrel at the London-based ICE for the first time since April 30, 2023, according to trading data.
Brent oil prices edged up by 0.46% to $87.04 a barrel.
WTI futures with delivery in August added 0.36% to $83.81 per barrel.
Brent futures rolled back later to $87.02 a barrel, up 0.44%.
