The former chairman of commerce of Tsentrkazenergomontazh JSC Yerkin Amirkhanov has been arrested in Astana, the Kazak National Security Committee said.
One of the richest Kazakh businessmen was arrested on suspicion of commercial bribery, Interfax-Kazakhstan reported.
Amirkhanov was detained on May 5. His net worth is approximately $135 million.
