According to Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev, there has been no growth of tourists in 2015 in Azerbaijan, as throughout the world, due to the economic crisis.
"For example, the number of tourists fell by 70% in Russia, but 700-800,000 of 2.5 million Russian tourists travel to Azerbaijan. It means that there is no increase in the influx of tourists,’’ Abc.az cites the minister.
The positive fact is that Azerbaijan is visited not only by tourists from traditional countries, but also from the Gulf States, Europe and Latin America, the minister said.
