Opera and state theaters closed across Turkey after Presidential decree

Turkish media report that the country’s opera, state theatres, and ballets were shut down after a presidential decree, Tornos News reports.

The decree noted they would be closed on Wednesday night until artists and entertainment groups were “harmonised” with the new Presidential system that took effect after the recent national elections.
