Troops that provide protection of public orders and resistance to extremism consist of Cossacks and volunteers, the press service of the governor of the region reports.
"The governor of Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev instructed the heads of municipalities to form local self-defense units in order to maintain order on the streets of the cities and settlements of the region," Interfax-South reports.
