Over 100 trucks are waiting to pass the Verkhny Lars crossing post that was closed due to the danger of avalanches on 9 January.
According to the press service of the directorate for border security of the FSB in North Ossetia, "the registration of heavy trucks in the Verkhny Lars crossing post was suspended".
The ministry noted that "the resumption of the checkpoint operation fully depends on the normalization of weather conditions on the territory of Georgia".
