An earthquake struck the Caspian Sea on the night of April 11-12, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center under Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences.
The tremor had a magnitude of 3.2 and was recorded at 12:47 AM local time (11:47 PM Moscow time).
The hypocenter was located at a depth of 74 kilometers.
Earlier this week, a series of earthquakes were recorded in the Caspian Sea on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The strongest quake occurred on April 8. Its magnitude was 5.3
