According to research conducted by Russian seismologists, the threat of earthquakes in the area of the future construction of the Kerch bridge is lower than had been expected.
‘‘This means that its construction is to be 10-20 % cheaper that had been planned,’’ the deputy director of the Institute of Earth Physics Yevgeny Rogozhin said.
