Militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have attacked a military convoy in Turkey’s southeastern province of Hakkari. One Turkish officer was killed in the militant attack.
After this incident, the security forces launched a wide-scale operation against the PKK militants, Trend reports.
