The heads of government of the CIS countries approved 25 documents related to the Commonwealth's activities at a Council meeting held today in Minsk.

A meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS countries was held today in Minsk. During the meeting, the prime ministers of the Commonwealth countries adopted 25 documents.

The event was held in both narrow and broad formats. Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan participated at the prime minister level, while Turkmenistan and Armenia were represented by deputy prime ministers (via videoconference).

The meeting participants adopted three CIS development strategies through 2035. Documents were signed on the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development, the Strategy for the Digitalization of Key Multimodal Transport Corridors of Member States, and the Strategy for Cooperation in the Development of the Information Society and Digital Economy (and corresponding action plan through 2035).

The council participants agreed to hold the Year of Healthcare in the Commonwealth next year. They also approved regulations on centers for the exchange of advanced technological experience and innovative cooperation.
