Pakistan and Azerbaijan are discussing issues of cooperation in demining the Azerbaijani territories liberated  during the Second Karabakh War. This was stated by Pakistani Ambassador to Baku Bilal Haye.

He stressed that Pakistan was already in contact with the Azerbaijani government on demining activities. "Pakistani sappers and other specialists will arrive in Karabakh to help Azerbaijan in this process", Sputnik Azerbaijan quotes Haye.

According to him, after the completion of the restoration work, many Pakistani companies will study the opportunities existing in the liberated regions of Azerbaijan. In particular, the diplomat stressed that there were numerous opportunities for the entrepreneurship's development.

In addition to this, the Ambassador expressed the opinion that another area requiring special attention was the possibility of exploring natural resources, including fresh water sources.

"The beauty and landscape of Kalbajar is very impressive. I believe that many Pakistanis will come to Karabakh to enjoy its beauties. This place will become a special tourist center for the whole world", Haye said.

Let us remind you that on May 31, the ninth visit of the diplomatic corps' representatives to Karabakh took place, in which more than 80 diplomats and military representatives from more than 50 countries and 10 international organizations participated. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the consequences of the destruction committed by the Armenian Armed Forces during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories and the reconstruction process in the liberated regions.
