On December 23, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, stated that Georgia requires a "pro-Georgian" approach above all others.
According to Papuashvili, Tbilisi's policy does not need a pro-European, pro-Russian, or any other approach.
"We clearly see that the existing international security system has collapsed. This is the main challenge Georgia faces. We do not know how events will develop or what geopolitical agreement will establish peace in Ukraine",
Shalva Papuashvili said.
The Speaker added that Georgia must be prepared to address any domestic challenge that may emerge.
