Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was pleasantly surprised by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s straightforwardness and earnestness, as he himself said in an interview with the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
"Well, I imagined him to be a more difficult person so I was pleasantly surprised to find him very straightforward and earnest," The Armenian leader said. "What do I like about our relations? The fact that we discuss things frankly and earnestly, so I said after my recent visit to Moscow that relations between Armenia and Russia should not have any dark corners," Pashinyan added.
"That does not mean that we will always agree on everything. It only means that we will be earnest with each other. I think that it is the best of friendships when two countries and two people look each other in the eye and talk to each other frankly, sincerely and honestly," TASS cited the Armenian prime minister as saying.
