Pashinyan appoints Arayik Harutyunyan chief adviser

Armenia's former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan has been appointed Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister of Armenia by Nikol Pashinyan's decision.

Harutyunyan held the aforesaid ministerial post since 2018, but he was dismissed on Monday. Vagram Dumanyan has been appointed Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

Earlier, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian appointed chief adviser Vagharshak Harutyunyan as the country's new defence minister.
