Pashinyan plans to meet with Russia, EU, Iran and Georgia ambassadors

The Armenian opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan said that he intends to meet with the ambassadors of Russia, the EU, Iran and Georgia.

"We are planning discussions with the ambassadors of Russia, the European Union, Iran, Georgia and diplomatis," he told a briefing in the National Assembly of Armenia. "We intend to discuss the political situation with them," RIA Novosti cited Pashinyan as saying.

The opposition leader stressed that there is no need to seek any geopolitical conspiracies in Armenia's situation. According to Pashinyan, if he is elected prime minister, Armenia's foreign policy will retain its focus.

On April 25, Russian diplomats met with with opposition lawmakers of the National Assembly Nikol Pashinyan and Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as with press secretary of the Civil Contract party Tigran Avinyan, to discuss the current political crisis in Armenia.
