Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's aircraft used Azerbaijani airspace on August 30 for departure to a foreign visit and for the return flight to Yerevan on September 6, the PM's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said.
She explained that after the meeting in Washington on August 8, the relevant bodies of Armenia requested air passage from Azerbaijan for the plane of the Armenian PM and received a positive response.
"We consider this fact as a practical step towards unblocking communications in the region, promoting the peace agenda, and creating an atmosphere of mutual trust," Nazeli Baghdasaryan said.
