A number of Sevastopol public sector employees and pensioners were left without salaries and pensions for a while, the acting governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said today.
"The technical failure of the equipment in the treasury led to the suspension of pensions and wages. Yesterday, we started to pay pensions in manual mode, but so far, only 50% of pensioners have received payments,” Razvozhaev wrote in Instagram account, Interfax reports.
A special operational headquarters has been created in the government to resolve the issue, and employees of the Treasury and specialized departments were obliged to work on Saturday and Sunday.
