The Pentagon still does not intend to cooperate with Russia in the fight against the terrorist group Daesh until Moscow changes its position on Assad, the official representative of the US Defense Department Michelle Baldansa stated, commenting on the statement by the chief of the operational management of the Russian General Staff, Lieutenant-General Sergey Rudskoy, on the readiness of the Russian Federation to share data about the objects of militants in Syria with the US-led coalition and anticipation of the same thing from it.
"The position of the Defence Department has not changed. We do not intend to cooperate with Russia on Syria until Moscow changes its strategy in support of Assad and instead focuses on Daesh," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
