The United States Central Command has denied Daesh's claims that it shot down a US warplane in Iraq.
Amaq, a news agency that supports the terrorist organisation claimed Daeshy shot down a plane flying near Ain Al-Asad air base in Anbar.
The agency also claimed both the pilot and crew were killed in the attack near the air base which is used by both Iraqi and US armed forces.
But the Pentagon denied any aircraft being shot down or reported missing.
“There is no truth to reports of Daesh downing a US aircraft near Anbar," a Pentagon spokesman said.
