The Permanent Representative of France to the UN, Francois Delattre, expressed hope for the unity of the Security Council of the organization on the issue of fighting terrorism.
"We are trying to unite all members of the Security Council, including Russia. I think that we should not waste time. We have good cooperation with Ambassador Churkin and others," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
The Permanent Representative also expects that a vote on the corresponding draft resolution will take place "as soon as possible."
