According to the press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, it is not known whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the opening ceremony after the reconstruction of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.
"I am not ready to confirm this. The matter is being specified," Tass cites his response to a journalist’s question.
The opening ceremony of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque is scheduled for September 23rd. It is expected that the head of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend the event.
