Peskov: Putin may discuss ruble appreciation with economy minister

Russian President Vladimir Putin may discuss the issue of strengthening of the Russian currency at the meeting with Economic Development Minister Maksim Oreshkin later in the day, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Macroeconomics will be discussed upon one way or another at today’s meeting," TASS cited Peskov as saying.

As reported earlier the euro exchange rate dropped to 59 rubles on the Moscow Exchange on Wednesday.
