The strategic goals of Russia and the United States in the fight against Islamic State are close, but there is no practical cooperation yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Despite any tactical differences, this strategic goal is the thing where we have the same position," Peskov said.
He pointed out that in this case, "it is more about verbal, positional support" and not "about any practical interaction."
