Peskov explains what causes Russia's non-participation in 'nuclear' summit

Russia refused to participate in the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington due to the lack of cooperation with partners on this issue, the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to him, "the issue of nuclear safety is highly relevant". "But Moscow believes that the study of the issues related to nuclear safety requires common and joint efforts and mutual consideration of interests and positions," the Kremlin representative noted.
