Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun preparations to hold his annual press conference on December 20, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
According to the spokesman, the upcoming annual press conference of the Russian President has received around 1,650 accreditation requests so far, Sputnik reported.
Last year, the number of journalists accredited for the event broke 2016 records, with 1,640 journalists expected to attend, including reporters from the U.S., Germany, Japan, France, China, Poland and other countries. Typically, the President's large annual press conference attracts an audience of millions.
