Tactical flight exercises involving about 20 pilots of the Su-27 aircraft were held in the Southern Military District, the spokesman for Russia’s Southern Military District Vadim Astafyev said.
The crews practiced fire on the targets simulating enemy aircraft both during the day and at night, TASS reported.
Pilots of the Su-27 aircraft also conducted an air targets’ acquisition, search and track operation and drill pursuit-course air-to-air missile launches on the targets.
