Today, the commander of the Rossiya airliner had to return to the departure airport in Sochi due to problems with the aircraft’s equipment.
The plane flying to Egypt returned to Sochi due to issues with equipment, reports the Aviaincident Telegram channel.
A plane with tourists from Rossiya Airlines took off today from the international airport in Sochi and headed for Egyptian Hurghada at 12:14, but soon the aircraft commander reported an issue with the flight navigation equipment.
The aircraft commander, after negotiations with the dispatcher and specialists, decided to return to the departure airport.
The plane successfully landed at Sochi International Airport at 14:33. There is no information whether the plane will depart again.
