A competition of playwrights will be held in Georgia, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth reported.
It is clarified that the competition's purpose is to promote the development of modern drama, popularization and promotion of playwrights, support the creation of new Georgian plays and the translation of foreign dramatic samples into Georgian, replenishment, renewal and diversity of the repertoire of Georgian theaters, as well as the activation of the modern theatrical process.
"Projects aimed at holding competitions, seminars, master classes or other events in the field of dramaturgy will be accepted for the competition", Sputnik Georgia said in a release.
