Police detain 13 over Istanbul terror attack

Turkish police detained 13 suspects, including three foreign nationals, on Thursday over Tuesday’s deadly terror attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, which killed 42 people and injured more than 200 others, Anadolu Agency reports.

Turkish police department’s anti-terror branch conducted simultaneous raids in 16 addresses in Istanbul, Turkey’s most populous city.

The suspects were sent to Istanbul police headquarters after health checks. Another three suspects are currently being searched for, police said.
