The 'Eastern Partnership' has failed, and therefore the government of Poland "has rejected this concept as wrong," the Foreign Minister of this country Witold Waszczykowski stated.
"The belief that a good Eastern policy can be carried out through the EU is a myth," the minister stated, while expressing the view that this format only creates an illusion, but it does not provide prospects of EU membership for countries such as Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"The policy adopted by the previous government (of the 'Civic Platform' party), ended in disaster, because Euromaidan brought it into question," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
