Pope Francis considers a visit to Russia. He noted that he had never "closed the door" on this issue, and also expressed the hope that he would be able to organize a meeting between the leaders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Pope Francis admits that he may soon visit Moscow. In an interview with the Argentine press, he noted that he sees an opportunity to visit the Russian capital in the future. ”Everything is possible," he said.

The pontiff hopes that the visit will take place sooner or later. He also stressed that he has never "closed the door" on this issue.

At the same time, he doubts that negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine will take place under the auspices of the Vatican. The Pope does not rule out that there will be an international meeting on this topic, and added that the Vatican is working on it.

Last year, Pope Frances called on the Russian and Ukrainian leaders to dialogue.
