During his traditional Sunday sermon in the Vatican, Pope Francis welcomed the adoption of the UN Security Council resolution on the settlement of the conflict in Syria.
"Today I address my thoughts to Syria, highly appreciating the agreement reached by the international community. I urge everybody to continue our movement on the path to the cessation of violence and the negotiating process that leads to peace,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
