Pope Francis has condemned the terrorist attack which occurred yesterday in Ankara.
Speaking today in the traditional Sunday sermon "Angelus" (heavenly angel) to tens of thousands of pilgrims who filled St. Peter's Square, the Pope pointed out that "citizens, who gathered for a peaceful demonstration, became the victims of an assassination."
At the same time, the Roman pontiff asked the faithful to make "a silent prayer in the name of sympathy and solidarity with the beloved Turkish people" with him, TASS writes.
