Today President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the US on its Independence Day.
"Freedom is beating in the hearts of the Ukrainian people as warmly as in the hearts of the people of the United States. Congratulations on Independence Day, America!" Gazeta.ru cited the head of the Ukrainian state as saying.
Independence Day in the United States is celebrated on July 4th.
