A young man suspected of selling drugs was detained in the Chegem region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kabardino-Balkaria informs.
During the search operations in the village of Shalushka, a 27-year-old local resident was detained carrying 10 polymer parcels with orange powder.
“The detained young man explained that the bags contain a narcotic substance, which he acquired, intending to sell some and keep remaining for personal use,” the department reports.
The examination determined that the found powder is mephedrone. A criminal case has been initiated.
