SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev visited region of Kvemo Kartli during his visit to Georgia. The region is known for the fact that it is populated by Azerbaijanis.
It is reported that Abdullayev met with the governor Paata Khizanashvili and gave the present from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the form of 10 tractors and ploughs. The agricultural machinery was produced at the Ganja Automobile Plant.
According to SOCAR's press service, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the company and the Kvemo Kartli governorship.
