The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is to be allocated more than $100 million this fiscal year to support the development of the private sector in Armenia, the head of its regional office in South Caucasus Jan Van Bilsen said in an interview with 168 Zham.
He also noted significant potential of the private sector of the republic. "In addition to investments in the financial sector of Armenia, we intend to increase our investments in non-financial competitive sectors such as agricultural business, energy and services,'' RIA Novosti cites Van Bilsen as saying.
